Smart Cookie

In the morning when I wake up I am very careful about my movement in the room. When I was alone I could prance around my room without a bother. But now she’s there as well. No one can cross her without not being heard or felt. If she were human she would have made an excellent Dick Tracy.

You must be wondering who I am talking about. It’s my new pet puppy we got around three weeks ago. She looks small in size but her presence can be felt in every corner of our 1300sq feet house. I am not selling koyo la. She is a Shih Tzu who is sweet, naughty and demanding. SO I decided to name her Cookie.

Though she’s only three months old she has learnt the tactics of persuading us with her gimmicks. She hates staying in the cage and continuously barks when placed in it. I have a feeling she understands languages as she bites my friend Balaji whenever he mentions the word “Cage”. She barks like a maniac to get our attention and keeps nibbling on my toes when she’s bored of the toys we have got her.

But no matter how much she irritates me with her actions, her expressions are so cute that I cannot be angry with her for long. I guess it’s only natural. If ice creams melt so will hearts seeing those adorable eyes.
