It's been nearly four months since I first started blogging. Time is flying like hell. Before I knew it 2005 left and 2006 entered. How the years just fly through our doors and lives I don't know. The only reality that keeps me rooted to the ground is the fact that we are all growing older with time not younger. In order to stall time we try to record in an authentic manner. But who can capture moments in their hands... not only is the feat impossible but also hard to accomplish.
When we write online we expect feedback. One such person left a comment on my blog site which I felt was so true. He said that the blog is like a dog that has to be looked after, fed and groomed. I know that it might sound all flowery and nice but in a way it is true.
We all become famous for all the wrong reasons. I am not blaming anyone or anybody for it...for we all like to be the centre of attention, don't we?..and when we get it why not bask in the glory. After all moments like these come only once in a lifetime.
Even for that matter being a writer is not as easy as it seems. As writers you are always pursuing something new or unheard of to interest your readers or keep them engaged in what you write. Be it in form of stories, photographs or autobiographies...we all have our own ways of trapping people in the web of our creations...mesmerizing them to stay and enjoy.
I got an overwhelming response from readers when I wrote about India and my homeland. I guess it's because when we write about something so close to our heart, we breathe a life into it that sets it apart. That's the irony of life. We all search for something distant when want we can write about so beautifully lies just in front of our eyes. We can write about anything or everything but the challenge lies in how we shape it and give it a life of its own.
I guess I have written enough for today. I know I have not given any order to my writing but who does anyway. Blog is to just key in what we feel like and whenever we feel like. And that's exactly what I have done. I don't feel I am being a rebel in anyway by not ordering how I think and write, do you?
