Stuck in the middle of nowhere!!!

Yesterday I went to watch a movie called NEAL n NIKKI. What a wonderful movie it turned out to be. I spent just 90 minutes trying to figure out the story and in the last scene trying to understand when the story will start. But before I could bat an eyelid the movie finished.

Can you believe a one and an half hour movie making you feel like you went for a 3 hour show? That one hour was deadly...not that there was any nail biting suspense. The only saving grace was the place CANADA in which the movie was set. Otherwise NEAL n NIKKI did not appeal to me at all. My friend felt so guilty for making me pay for the movie that she refunded the money. You can then imagine how good the movie would have been.

Today I thought I would catch another movie to erase the bitter experience I had yesterday. But somehow did not have the mood to go watch one alone. The last one I saw alone was Pride and Prejudice. Ok why do I always talk about movies only...there is more to life than movies...

All the shopping malls are now having midnight sales n discounts...not that I am going. You should see the crowds that throng each mall. Today when I walked down orchard road there was not a soul who did not have a shopping bag with them. Everyone was in a good mood I guess as the weekend was fast approaching. What a nice way to kick start the weekend then doing window shopping with family and friends. The mango store is having a 50% discount. MY god the queue was so long that I just flipped. Ok I did go in. But there was no space to move around.

Suddenly you will feel a hand just going through you to reach out for a shirt in front of you on the hanger. You needn't go to a theatre to feel horrified. Just step into shopping malls having huge discounts. And viola you will not only feel suffocated but also haunted. But when buying clothes at dirt cheap prices who will bother how crowded a place is. After all life is a rat race and everybody wants a bite of the pie...and if the pie is tasty...then pushing n pulling doesn't seem a dreaded task at all.
