ponderiiiingggggs

When I went to a bookstore I was browsing through this book called IMPONDERABLES....the list was endless...Like how do fish sleep? why is bubble gum pink in colour? and so on.

When I chew a bubble gum I do not concentrate on the colour but the flavour. And secondly to blow a bubble to the extent I can. When I heard this other query about whether fish ever shut their eyes when they sleep..Believe me I was left thinking.

We have fishes at home who have beautifully kohl drawn eyes. Not that they deck themselves everyday with make-up. It's just the way their eyes have a nice red circle around it like Kajal... now for those who do not know what Kajal is. Well it's very common in India where girls draw their eyes below for effect or for medical reasons as it keeps the dust out of the eyes.

Just like the eyeliner is meant to define the eyelids, the kajal is meant to glorify what we have naturally and protect it. The last time when I blogged I wrote about my movies. One of my friends felt i could write better about something more interesting than movies. And I guess he was right.

From time to time we all just need to dip our hands in our heads and try to go as deep as possible to bring out the best in us. Be it in writing, talking or even talents..we need to nurture what we have and continuously make use of it..so that in the long run we do not run short of words or time.

Before doing a professional degree was considered the key to an income. But with the number of engineers that churn out every year from colleges in India the job market has become even more competitive and cautious. Now everyone is an engineer and everyone is a doctor, but what is now lacking are the jobs they have been spending on in the hope to achieve. The easiest way to earn quick money now are call centres.

It's the latest trend in India for a college student who spends nearly 4 lakhs on engineering to earn it back in less than two years is a great deal. But what my grandmom told me was right in a way. Once we start earning money the desire to learn or become better dies. Not that we become greedy for an expensive lifestyle. But we forget to value what really matters as we spend too much time just making money.

Money is a ponderable subject........but losing out on time is sometimes imponderable...........
