Am new to blogging...but not writing. Writing has been a passion for me- an outlet for my creativity. Trying to keep the flame of creativity burning is no joke. It's an ongoing process as finding an idea is easy but keeping it alive is tough.Originality is priceless. You might see the light flickering, but how do you let it glow? We pour oil in a lamp so that the flame doesn't die out. Our ideas needs to be nurtured and nourished the same way. Even though creativity might run in our veins, the ultimate challenge lies in capitilizing on it to the max and letting ideas operate individually. Sometimes I feel that writing is a tool to keep in touch with one's self. Once writing and life cease to inspire each other, we are stuck as there is no way out. For me, writing is essential not only at the personal level but at the literary level. When we see people growing older, we see them change. For them, life has been a journey in which they have stumbled and got up several times. Life has never been smooth for anyone and never will be. It is said that when you remain idle, the mind stops thinking and remembering and slowly heads down the path of forgetfulness. People who are older are aware of the world they inhabit and constantly drown themselves in newspapers, books and television news; why? It's the fear of falling back in life, more than that, its the fear of losing out in life. Who wants to lose out in life....I don't. Do you?
